Total Team Wares is closing up shop at the YMCA Aquatic center later this month. For years the Y has worked with TTW to provide new goggles for our swimmers at the beginning of the season and for this we are extremely grateful. Because TTW will no longer have Pro Shop at the Aquatic Center the goggle fitting for our first practice is canceled. Swimmers will be responsible for acquiring their own goggles from here on out. Parents: swimmers do need to have goggles to swim on our team. Please make arrangements for having your athletes equipped with goggles for the first practice. Goggles can easily be ordered online. Any parent that brings their athlete without goggles will be asked to join and swim the workout with their child (of course without goggles). Thanks for your attention in this matter.

There will be no goggle fitting this year at the first practice. Swimmers will need to get their own goggles ahead of time.
We will be having practice at regular practice times for both groups on May 27th. For new swimmers in the development team evaluations will be done. If there is a time change for the evaluations on the first practice day I will let everyone know before hand through the blog.
Congratulations to Jesse Greve and Ian Soules. They have been going on a record breaking binge during off season. Jesse recently set three new open team records in the 200 IM 302.6, the 100 Breast 153.2, and the 100fly 1:18.9 while Ian set two new Junior records in the 200 back 3:36.0 and the 100 Breast 1:55.4. It looks like they are going to have a great season coming up!
Also congratulations to Gregg Dedic who won his age group in the Hurricane man 1K open water swim. He was second overall in the masters category for all age groups. Strong Work Gregg.
